This is Marguerite's second solo album, and this time it's just her and pianist Art Lande for an intimate tribute to Fats Waller. Half of the tunes were written by Fats, and the rest are performed in tribute to the spirit of the man himself. He had a light hearted, sophisticated nature and a quick smile, but it all covered a razor sharp wit and serious, thoughtful social commentary. He was a great musician and a unique personality, as well as being an influential songwriter and pianist.
