This is the first CD from the Will Morrison Quartet. It features Will Morrison on Guitar and Vocals, Jon Erikson on Bass Trumpet, Klaus Brondum on String Bass, and Pete Ehrmann on Drums. This CD is special because it features one of the original members of Rare Silk, Marguerite Juenemann. If you're not familiar with Rare Silk, it was the Gammy nominated vocal trio from the 1980's formed of Boulderites from Fred's Restaurant (and elsewhere). It was a real joy to work with Marguerite, and hopefully she will be a regular member of the band.
This album features 10 wonderful songs by some of America's best songwriters, and we think you will find something that here you will really enjoy. And for those looking for more Marguerite, here it is!

Important note:
It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that on Wednesday, September 14, Jon Erikson, the bass trumpet player on this CD, passed away due to complications from surgery. Jon's loss will be greatly felt for many, many years both in this band and in the Boulder/Denver area. His warmth, sense of humor, and wit made him a real joy to work with and just to know. This CD is the last thing that he recorded, and we are VERY glad that we got the chance to document our friendship with Jon in such a fitting way. He was a wonderful person, and we miss him immensely.
